I was fortunate to visit Rutland Water two weeks ago for the 25th Annual Birdfair. The area is now well known for its breeding Ospreys and their migratory journeys are tracked each year with satellite tracking. It is a heartwarming story of conservation, faith and, above all, hope - that these magnificent birds will make it safely to their winter quarters (well, winter for us).
